January 2025 is already coming to a close, and we have been deep in our feels trying to plot our direction for the New Year. In honesty, 2024 was a hard year for us, we lost a family member and it put us into survival mode. We had difficulty with things that previously had come easily, and we found ourselves in a year long loop of just doing what we could to make it through. It affected our social energy, creativity, self-care, ability to see the big picture, and so many other things. 

 

During our reflection this month, we realized we were dormant for an entire year. That affected Redeemer’s connection with our community, which is one of the pillars Redeemer is built on. Redeemer exists because of you. We are grateful to each of you who showed up for us during this time, helped us along, kept us connected. You saw us through what has been one of the toughest times of our lives.

 

With nearly a month of reflection, planning, reconnecting, and the slow melting of grief we are feeling hopeful and inspired for the year to come. We have coined 2025 our year of Big Ideas. Inspired in part by Remi Wolf’s Album of the same name, which was a light in our hearts last year— if you haven’t listened, we can’t recommend it enough. This year we are thinking big, reaching far, and connecting deeply. We missed you, and are so excited to be back in bloom.
